Director of Community
Rachel graduated from Syracuse University with a BS in Photojournalism. She was actively involved as a leader within her sorority, Gamma Phi Beta, and accepted the unusual opportunity to travel full-time across North America as a consultant for the organization post-graduation.
With a passion for building communities, story-telling and growing organizations strategically, she finished up two years as a sorority consultant and moved to New York City to work with a recruiting firm specializing in the alternative investment space. Rachel eventually wanted to focus more on her personal interests of women’s leadership development and diversity & inclusion education, and found Declare to be the perfect fit. Rachel spent time on the Declare Search team supporting companies as they intentionally focus on diversity through their recruiting practices. She soon had the opportunity to transition to the Declare Lead team in order to combine her passions around education and women’s initiatives, initially focused on building and launching the executive pod program, and now works as VP of Customer Success, ensuring that members get the most out of their Declare experience.
When Rachel isn’t driving engagement throughout Declare’s membership, she spends her time as actively as possible (training for a triathlon anyone?), continues her volunteer involvement with Gamma Phi Beta as a regional advisory board member, and serves as a leader in other communities within New York City. Feel free to connect with her for a long run or coffee!
